Le Collet d'Allevard is a very popular launch spot for Paragliding.

The Collet d'Allevard is a paragliding mecca. It is situated at 1450m in altitude in the Belledonne mountain range near Grenoble and it has 4 official take off points. I must say this is the first launch I did and running off the cliff face was the most exciting thing I have done in my life - not being a regular paraglider.
